September 2021. The headlights of Franco Collè and Jonas Russi pierce the Aosta Valley night.

Their moods are opposite.

But both want to get their hands on the Tor des Géants®, the toughest endurance trail in the world.

Here is the beginning of a sincere friendship between two athletes who don’t even speak the same language, but destined to remain in the Tor des Géants® archives for a long time.

The story of a friendship between two Giants.

JONAS RUSSI AND FRANCO COLLE', A FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN GIANTS

Franco Collé, from the Aosta Valley, is literally "in love" with the Tor des Géants, the toughest endurance trail in the World with a distance of 330 kilometres and 24,000 meters of elevation gain.

It’s held every year, in mid-September, and completes the complete circumnavigation of the Aosta Valley along the Alte Vie 1 and 2 trails.

You don’t understand TORX® until you’ve tried it

Franco discovered this race in 2012 and since then he has been unable to do without it. He has won it three times and holds the race record: 66 hours 43 minutes 57 seconds.
